About Me

Hi, I’m Tessa Townsend, a Marketing Graduate Assistant at Colorado State University Pueblo and a recent University of Tampa graduate with a B.S. in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Marketing. I create and manage campaigns that engage students, promote recreation programs, and strengthen campus community.

My background spans marketing coordination, content creation, analytics, and event promotion, with hands-on experience leading communications for student organizations and university departments. Studying abroad through Semester at Sea expanded my global perspective and deepened my adaptability and communication skills.

I’m passionate about combining creativity with strategy to tell meaningful stories, drive engagement, and bring fresh, results-driven ideas to every project I take on.

 

Experience

As a Graduate Assistant of Marketing at Colorado State University Pueblo, I create campaigns that promote campus recreation and boost student engagement. Previously, I worked as a Marketing Coordinator for Competitive Intramural Sports at the University of Tampa and served as Vice President of the Global Ambassadors Club. My study abroad experience broadened my global perspective and strengthened my adaptability and communication skills.

Education

I am pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Colorado State University Pueblo, where I also serve as a Graduate Assistant of Marketing for ThunderWolf Recreation. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship with a minor in Marketing from the University of Tampa. My coursework included Digital Marketing, Media in Society, Managing Family Business, Professional Selling and Sales Management, and The Art and Science of Negotiation. I also had the opportunity to study abroad, expanding my global perspective and adaptability.
