In my Digital Marketing course, I gained a solid understanding of key strategies like SEM, SEO, social media marketing, and both inbound and outbound marketing. I applied this knowledge by creating a professional portfolio website using WordPress, integrating tools like Mailchimp and Google Analytics to track performance. Additionally, I earned certifications in HubSpot and Google Analytics, enhancing my practical skills in digital marketing and data analysis

Business Plan Development

In my Business Plan Development course, I learned how to create comprehensive business plans that cover key areas such as market research, financial planning, operations, and marketing strategy. I developed a detailed business plan for a startup, including an executive summary, target market analysis, competitive landscape, and growth milestones. This course helped me gain practical skills in structuring business ideas, identifying risks, and developing strategies for success.

Managing a Family Business

In my Managing a Family Business course, I learned about the unique challenges and opportunities that come with running a family-owned business. I explored key topics such as succession planning, governance structures, and balancing family dynamics with business objectives. The course also provided insights into strategic decision-making and how to maintain long-term success while navigating the complexities of family involvement in business operations.

Global Marketing

In my Global Marketing course, I explored strategies for entering international markets, adapting products, and developing global marketing plans. I studied the impact of sociocultural, economic, and political factors on marketing decisions, and learned to tailor marketing strategies to diverse global audiences. This course also focused on segmentation, targeting, and positioning in a global context, giving me the tools to design effective marketing campaigns across different regions.

The Art and Science of Negotiation

In my Art and Science of Negotiation course, I explored the key principles and strategies behind effective negotiations, from personal interactions to global business deals. I studied negotiation frameworks from Getting to Yes and Never Split the Difference, applying concepts like BATNA (Best Alternative to a Negotiated Agreement), anchoring, and tactical empathy. Through role-playing exercises and team simulations, I practiced adapting negotiation techniques to different scenarios, improving my ability to influence outcomes and resolve conflicts. The course also covered the role of body language in negotiations, enhancing my ability to read nonverbal cues and communicate persuasively

Professional Selling and Sales Management

In my Professional Selling course, I developed a deep understanding of the sales process, relationship selling, and customer-oriented sales strategies. I learned how to apply SPIN Selling techniques, conduct prospecting and cold calls, and craft persuasive sales presentations. The course emphasized hands-on learning through role-playing exercises, AI-driven sales training, and live sales competitions judged by corporate executives. I also refined my personal branding through elevator pitches, discovery calls, and a reverse career fair, strengthening my ability to build client relationships and close deals effectively.

Kappa Alpha Theta

Kappa Alpha Theta is a women's fraternity founded in 1870 at DePauw University by Bettie Locke, Alice Allen, Bettie Tipton, and Hannah Fitch. Since its founding, Theta has supported women during college and as alumnae across the United States and Canada. Known for its dedication to leadership, scholarship, and service, Theta's philanthropic efforts focus on supporting Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), also known as Guardians ad Litem (GAL), to help children in foster care and promoting educational opportunities for its members. I have held the position of Facilities Management Director, where I managed the organization and logistics of the chapter's facilities, ensuring materials were accessible for events and that member requests were promptly addressed.

GGlobal Ambassadors Club

The Global Ambassadors Club is a diverse organization that fosters cultural exchange and global awareness among students. It provides opportunities for members to engage with international students, develop leadership skills, and promote cross-cultural understanding. Through events and outreach, the club creates a welcoming community that celebrates global perspectives.
